How to: Remove Classic Windows Messenger from Windows XP

To remove classic messenger in Windows XP run the following command:

RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove

This can also be used when creating an unattend setup or using a Software Deployment Solution like ConneXin Infrastructure Manager, Altiris, Microsoft SMS or similiar products..
